60 years already, only 60 years. It has been 60 years that the brand diffuses a delicious perfume in the air. The simple evocation of Leonard is sufficient for our imagination to picture a dazzling garden full of extraordinary flowers.
A bouquet populated with Camellias, Arums but most prominently with Orchids. Its fragility, gracefulness and incomparable form makes the orchid one of the essential emblems of the Maison. The Leonard flower propagates to infinity.
Life is a Garden Party
Fashion trends come and go but the Leonard quintessence is everlasting, this is Daniel Tribouillard’s, Founder of the Maison, dearest wish.
Audacious since the very start, he succeeds in bringing to life the “art of the flower” via powdered drawings, inspired by Chinese artists. Then came the art to wear this flower, opposing fabrics such as exceptionally fine and light silk, cashmere and the outstanding silk jersey. These extremely noble, light and uncrushable fabrics become, starting in 1968, significant signatures of the Maison. “The Leonard dress, 150 grams of happiness”, was the slogan of the brand at the time. Irresistible.
On this occasion, and to celebrate the House 60th anniversary and creation, a Garden Party was organized by the House in its new Hôtel Particulier located at the heart of the 16th district for a floral, colorful and lively evening, just like its creation.
