“LA PARISIENNE” NEW CAPSULE

21 May 2024

For the Spring/Summer 2024 season, LEONARD PARIS presents “La Parisienne”, an original capsule featuring pieces from the finest French craftsmanship, designed to pay tribute to the elegance and timeless charm of the woman who walks the streets of the City of Light every day.

Now a recurring feature of the LEONARD PARIS collections, “La Parisienne” offers, through refined lines, emblematic pieces from the French dressing room, as well as a dedicated accessory.

Designed to complement its iconic floral universe and colorful prints, LEONARD PARIS' “La Parisienne” capsule is a sober alternative to the famous luxury house's current collections.

Entirely made in France to the highest standards, the capsule comprises 6 pieces:

- FRENCHY trench coat in stretch wool, Navy or Putty

- MARCEL Marinière in GOTS-certified organic striped cotton jersey

- CAPUCINE shirt in Swiss cotton, Sky blue

- PAUL pants in stretch wool-blend, Navy

- BEA blazer in stretch wool-blend, Navy

- EMILY dress in stretch wool, Black

Supplies for the capsule elements are also French-made. The buttons on the CAPUCINE shirt are made from natural Australian mother-of-pearl, while those on the FRENCHY trench coat are made from engraved natural horn. Finally, the engraved metal buttons are made in Italy. The factory works with recycled and recyclable metals. The embroideries are also made in France.

For each piece, apart from the marinière, LEONARD PARIS has designed a unique tricolor stripe (black, white, red). In addition to this detail, a discreet sign of the house's origins and the inspiration behind this collection, the ateliers also designed a special logo stylizing the Eiffel Tower, as well as an original lining found inside the trench coat and blazer.

For this collection, two labels have also been specially designed by the LEONARD PARIS atelier. Inspired by the traditional labels of French grands crus, they feature the illustration of the company's mythical Hôtel particulier, located near the Place de l'Etoile in Paris, as well as a representation of the Eiffel Tower, a widely recognized Parisian symbol. The blazer, meanwhile, is adorned with a coat of arms specifically created by the company's workshops, inspired by the ancient coat of arms of the City of Paris.

Finally, the capsule includes an accessory: an authentic Basque beret made in Bayonne in partnership with Le Béret Français. Hand-dyed, all models are created from recycled fiber. The navy eco jean model is made from cotton and polyester, while the ecru and sky blue models are made from organic cotton.
